Whoa, did I actually manage to post a Game Maker video two nights in a row?

Here are some more advanced things you can do with the Scribble text renderer, such as typewriter text and caching and defining your own colors. I also talk a tiny bit about how it works internally. There's still way more that you can do that I didn't talk about in this video, but if you're into the advanced stuff you'll probably learn faster by messing around with it than by watching a video.

This is a tool for Game Maker Studio 2, and it won't work in GMS1. There is a version of it that does work on GMS1 (which I helped make!) but it's very old and isn't guaranteed to work as well.
