Consolidating all of its data in BigQuery also allowed Shopify to tap into the full power of the Google Cloud ecosystem, including Cloud Composer, Dataplex, and Looker Studio, helping to reduce the toil of data preparation and get to insights even faster.

โ โI love the fact that Vertex AI has given us access to the hardware underneath. As the AI movement is getting more mature, there are times when the cost aspect of when you use AI becomes a big factor in making decisions and being able to optimize the underlying hardware is a really big factor.โ
