Item duping and exploits have been an issue in New World for a while. While many of the major dupes were fixed in previous patch, a new dupe revolving around housing items surfaced recently, causing trading to be disabled again. Following this, the devs have released a statement regarding duping, exploits and their current ban policies, including permabans.
