If you ever feel tired of the default Yoshi colors, why not just change them to something custom?

The following gecko cheats allow you to change Yoshi's body colors, juice indicator colors and the color of the juice coming out of Yoshi's mouth. (Sadly only for US, but somebody who knows how to can port them to PAL or JPN). RRGGBB or RRGGBBAA stand for the hexadecimal representation of RGB or RGBA colors with two hex digits per red, green blue or alpha component.

**US, first line is the color of water sprayed by Mario (and Yoshi when he is out of juice). You can remove it if you don't need it. The other three colors are the juice sprayed by Yoshi. Set RRGGBBAA to the colors you want.
