Next Let's Play: Freedom Planet (PC) (Part 00/11)
21Did you enjoy those old Mega Drive/Genesis games? Well, than I probably don't have to tell you about this game... as it celebrates that console very specifically with many gameplay elements and graphical styles found with in such games as Rocket Knight Adventures, Gunstar Heroes, Ristar, Vectorman and yes, of course, Sonic the Hedgehog.
What started out as a Sonic fangame, turned into it's own thing. I've wanted to do an LP of this game quite a few years back now, but wasn't able to. Well, time to set that straight and settle this unfinished business. Let's find out if I can once again manage to host a full LP!
This video gives an intro to the game and what I want to achieve. The game features 3 playable characters and the story and levels change slightly based on who you're playing as. I'll attempt to make a singular storyline containing most of the exclusive scenes and parts in a (to me) sensible chronological order. This might mean that some scenes/levels might appear out of order the game presents them. I will also change up who we're playing as to keep things more interesting and show of the different playstyles in the different levels, without having to go through the entire game three times together.
This game features a LOT of story. I'll provide chapter links to the different gameplay sections. This way you can skip the cutscenes if you want.
