Got a new PC and I figured I needed to test it a bit to see if it's any better than the old hunk of metal. Doom pretty much works on anything, down to bloody calculators and pregnancy tests, so it's kind of funny to think that there is a version once again I couldn't run a week ago. Actually, come to think of it, I'm also fresh out of pregnancy tests... Anyway, does path (ray) tracing actually add something to the game? Or is it needless fluff too flex some new programming tech? Well, let's have a go at it and see what all the fuss is about as I waffle about, well stuff. Want to give it a try yourself? It's very easy to set up, even I managed it after all!

Also a major thank you to @lactobacillusprime! Mark helped me tremendously in finalizing my build. Choice paralysis is a bitch! Very happy to have something again that manages to boot up, without crashing no less, before I get back with coffee! This will make recording and editing so much more pleasant again. Just user error to worry about now... so in the end, not a whole lot of change come to think of it... ah well, at least there's a new coat of pain on an old favourite!
