Vlog Thingy 1 May 2022: It's Been How Long!?
122Almost 3 years for an update? Geez, talk about taking your time! Well, here's an update to tie you over until 2030, maybe? Or perhaps I'll actually stick around a bit. We'll see, but I think it is high time for me to at least let you know a bit on what's been up with me, where I've been and what I'd like to do with the channel moving forward.
I mention this in the video, but I'd just like to stress again how thankful I am with the encouragements I've received, thank you guys so much, this was truly humbling and uplifting!
I've had a fairly rough ride and I guess I kind of head it coming too with the way I was just sweeping issues under the rug. Not that I'm fully done doing that I'm sure (old habits die hard), but I've at least regained some semblance of balance again and am able to take on some mild activities again. It's great to be able to fully appreciate what life has to offer us, in a way even more than before.
Now please keep in mind that I am the same at heart, but I've certainly also change in other ways. I've had a period where I suffered from a lot of cognitive issues and while that has improved quite a lot, I can still have some issues finding the right words, remembering things, keeping track of my thoughts and concentration. So just be warned, as this might show at times, certainly when working unscripted like this. To keep this video somewhat cohered (and it still ended up going all over the place!) I had to resort so something I always hated, the dreaded jump cuts! But eh, they have their uses I suppose!
During my Vlog Thingies I just talk about whatever has come up recently. This can either be in the gaming industry, YouTube or my life in general. It's just a way to genuinely and unscripted share with everyone what's going on for me. I talk about my interests, experiences and opinions and give you a glimpse of what's going on in that big head of mine, after I've dusted out some of the cobwebs of course.
