Developed and published by EA Sports in 2018, NHL 19 is the last EA Sports NHL video game in the series to integrate the NBC Sports presentation with a NHL ON NBC introduction alongside the score bug, music, as well as channel watermark bug of NBC and the now defunct NBCSN. The EA NHL franchise now uses a generic graphics package for the presentation. This is also the last EA NHL game to have the legendary Mike Emrick and Eddie Olczyk on commentary. However rinkside reporter Ray Ferraro would be promoted to the commentary position along with play-by-play done by James Cybulski starting with NHL 20.
