Nickmercs to YouTube? "Signed the biggest deal of my life"
7,066Is Nickmercs the next big Twitch streamer to leave the platform and sign an exclusive deal with YouTube?
Nickmercs is one of the biggest streamers on the Twitch platform, with an average of over 50,000 viewers for his streams willing to follow him from Fortnite, to Warzone, and now to Apex Legends. But Nickmercs is also very good friends with TimTheTatman and Dr Disrespect...and now that TimTheTatman has joined Doc and signed with YouTube, will Nick be the next huge name to leave Twitch?
Nickmercs recently revealed that he was working on a life changing deal with either Twitch or YouTube, which caught our attention, as that is the exact same wording both TimTheTatman and DrLupo used when they left Twitch for YouTube. Nickmercs also put out a YouTube short saying that the stream was like family, and he loved them, and he would be there for them no matter where he wound up streaming.
This has got to have Twitch extremely nervous, because that verbiage sounds a lot like a man about to make the swap to YouTube, especially with the chance to play with Dr Disrespect again. So either Twitch paid Nickmercs an incredible amount of money to stay on their platform, or YouTube has pulled off another massive heist, and has really put Twitch on the backfoot in this new round of the streaming wars.
