Night Book: Playthrough 3 (Hopeful/Use Your Connections/The Marriage is Off)
3This playthrough has you going back to Max and Jacqueline to clean up some trophies missed in the previous playthrough with them. The ending is dependent on HOW you get the book, but of course, I want to save spoilers, so check the timestamps below. The rest of the playthrough is pretty much free play.
16:40 Choose "Think With Your Heart" to get on the Max and Jacqueline story branch and then make the following decision at 21:40
- Interpret Max
- Offer Hope (unlocks Hopeful)
28:50 Using Your Connections: When you call Jacqueline after the cutscene after the first conversation, choose the following
- Whole Truth
- Guilt Trip
Jacqueline will then talk about how nice her father was and the trophy should unlock.
You will then want to immediately work towards not getting the book at 30:30
- Change Meaning
- Acquire Book
- Lie Again
- Beg Max for Book
- What's in the Book (I accidentally choose something different, but this is faster)
- Please!
The Marriage is Off: Max will then scan the book for you so you can unlock this trophy/achievement. At 44:05 after everything goes down, Loralyn will read the scans from Max and you will then choose "Sacrifice Pearce" and get the ending and achievement.
