Nightmare Creatures for N64 is an underrated game. It's listed as a survival horror by many websites, but it doesn't play like a Silent Hill or Resident Evil game. I'd say it's more of a Hack N Slash. The daughter, Nadia Franciscus is by far the more fun to play due to the ease in hacking off limbs and stuff.

Some reviews are critical of the controls, but I find them on par with games that are more well praised like Shadows of the Empire. Control issues was just a fact of the N64 era, even among it's most popular games

It's well worth a playthrough.
