After defeating the cursed statue, Ken returns to normal. Unfortunately, the reunion between father and son didn't last long, because as that happens the Jaquio appears and sends a powerful fireball towards Ryu, but Ken takes the shot to save his son's life, seeing what happened to his father, Ryu was enraged and began to attack Jaquio. Ryu then defeats Jaquio, the lady from eariler had escaped from being imprisoned, Ryu tells his father that they should escape from the temple, but Ken says before they do, they must throw the demon statues away from the temple, before the black moon sets. As it turns out, the Black Moon is actually a lunar eclipse, and when it sets the demon statues are shaking and the demon wakes up after 700 years. After a fierce battle, Ryu defeats the demon and kills it for good, he then tries to wake up his father, but Ken knew he didn't have much time left due to the blast eariler caused by Jaquio. He tells Ryu that him and the girl should escape without him, Ken's last words to Ryu is good luck and always be brave. They escape the collapsing temple, and Ryu is grieving due to the loss of his father. The women gets a call from her boss and that boss is Foster and he tells her to kill Ryu and then to take back the statues, despite promising Ryu earlier that he would be paid for the work. Gotta remember folks, never trust the government. The lady throws the communicator away, asks ryu what payment he got and basically said I have you, she smile, they share a kiss, she tells Ryu her name is Irene Lew and they look at the sunrise together. Ninja Gaiden is a good game, but man was it difficult.
