Ninja teased a possible return to pro play for Halo Infinite, the latest game in the Halo franchise where Ninja used to compete before becoming a Fortnite and Twitch mega star.
Most people associate Ninja with Fortnite, but before the Battle Royale helped make him a household name, Ninja was a pro playing Halo Reach and Halo 3 for years. So when he took to twitter and teased a return to pro play for Halo Infinite, a lot of fans and former pros took notice.
Halo pros like Goofy and Spartan celebrated the possible return of Ninja to pro Halo, with Spartan simply tweeting “He Back”. And people may also forget that Ninja’s pro Halo career spanned almost a decade, with the Twitch star playing for LG, Team Liquid, Cloud9, and many more orgs at the highest level.
Given Ninja’s decision to quit pro Valorant a few months back to travel more and work on his brand, it’s unlikely he would come back for anything more than an occasional exhibition match or tournament. But for those fans who can’t wait to see Ninja compete again, especially after he stepped away from the Valorant scene and quit grinding competitive Fortnite, Halo Infinite esports is probably their best and final chance to see him take a crack at pro play again.
