OpTic Sold AGAIN? Dallas OpTic Merger

New reports reveal that Hecz is looking for a merger between ENVY and OpTic Gaming, with NRG’s CDL slot being sold to a third party.
In what would be the fourth sale of the OpTic brand in as many years, ENVY is apparently close to merging with OpTic Gaming, and moving the brand to Dallas for the CDL. This would confirm that Hecz is splitting from NRG, who are apparently looking to sell their current Call of Duty League slot to a third party, while OpTic Gaming would wind up as part of the ENVY brand in Dallas.
This would mean a 3rd city and a third rebrand for OpTic gaming since the first came into the Call of Duty League as OpTic LA, before Hecz bought back the rights to OpTic and created OpTic Chicago this season. With a merger potentially in place,it would mean the third season of CDL would have an OpTic Dallas brand competing under NRG back in Texas.
With the retirement of FormaL, and Envoy being cut, both Dallas Empire and OpTic Chicago have 2 main roster players, so a potential merger could see a line up of Scump, Dashy, Illey, and Shotzzy, with Vivid acting as substitute. But it would also be the 4th time fans would have to get used to a new name and a new city for OpTic in the last few years, so hopefully the greenwall gets behind Hecz and Hastr0 if this deal really does come to pass.
