HCS, the Halo Championship Series, has announced that 9 huge esports orgs are joining their new Halo Infinite League, including Cloud9, Sentinels, FaZe, and G2
The full list of orgs partnered with HCS for the upcoming Halo Infinite season are Cloud9, Fnatic, Sentinels, G2, EUnited, Spacestation Gaming, ENVY, FaZe Clan, and NAVI. This immediately makes the new Halo Infinite League one of the most prestigious in all of esports, with the many of the biggest brands in Valorant, CSGO, League of Legends, and more competing in it.
And while those 9 partnered esports orgs are some of the biggest in the entire scene, HCS has not ruled out adding even more teams to the mix down the line, revealing that several other orgs have expressed an interest in joining. But right now, it seems like these 9 orgs will be the only ones competing in the first season of Halo Infinite HCS.
So just like that, in 1 day Halo esports has gone from an afterthought to having an esports league filled with the biggest orgs around. And with streamers like Ninja, Courage, and others still incredibly hyped for the return of Halo with Halo Infinite, this new title seems poised to put Halo esports back on the map.
