Nintendo President was recently interviewed by Asahi Shinbun to talk about Nintendo Switch and its involvement with VR. He was specifically asked if Nintendo Switch will use VR to which the president gives a vague but telling answer to how they're treating VR currently at Nintendo. It's clear that they don't believe in VR in the way Sony does at the moment. But if it does end up blowing up, Nintendo will consider VR with the Switch.
