Nintendo Clarifies that Cloud Saves Last 180 Days After Membership Lapse | Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo has been met with some criticism this week for it's apparent stance of deleting cloud save data immediately after your Nintendo Switch Online account is expired. But, a recent announcement, as reported by NintendoLife.com, from a Nintendo Representative has indicated and clarified that the cloud saves will remain for 180 days (or 6 months) after your account is deactivated. The data won't be available until you resubscribe.
