Nintendo Directs have been a standard staple for Nintendo since the 2010's. However, it really wasn't until the release of the Nintendo Switch when they seemingly EXPLODED in popularity.

Despite this, the Direct's haven't been getting better... and I think it's time I talk about it.

We'll examine the reasons why some Nintendo Directs may be unnecessary and explore the disappointments that have left fans questioning their value. From lackluster reveals to missed opportunities, I'll briefly look over the hits and misses of these popular presentations and talk about alternatives that still give Nintendo fans something to look forward to.
