34RIP to Yuza and to Citra, they were emulators of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.
Until Nintendo came along and sued and got them shut down.
I'm talking today about how Nintendo have some very archaic views on their video games and properties. You upload anything that Nintendo can claim, they're gonna claim it.
You start a project that is a remake or a mod of one of their games, here's your cease and desist letter fresh from their lawyers.
It sucks, considering how big the communities their games have, if they were to actually work effectively to cultivate that audience and allow them a certain amount of freedom on these projects they would make those fans all the more loyal.
Although there's still that weird fanbase that think Nintendo can do no wrong.
