Where is Waluigi’s Game? A question many ask!

First, it's important to understand the context of Waluigi's character. Waluigi is a recurring character in the Mario series of video games, who first appeared in the game Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. He is portrayed as a tall, lanky, and somewhat villainous character who is Luigi's counterpart, just as Wario is to Mario.

Despite his popularity among fans, Waluigi has yet to receive his own standalone game within the Nintendo franchise. This is likely due to a variety of factors. One reason could be that Nintendo already has a sleight of characters with games. If you think about it, Wario was introduced pretty early on in Super Mario Land 2 in 1992. In addition Mario and Luigi both started in many games from the gecko.

Waluigi only first appeared in the 2000s in mario tennis, a spinoff game and that was only to make things even as mario had a brother and Wario his nemesis needed one too in turn giving Luigi one. It may be difficult for a character like Waluigi to break into the spotlight and receive his own game considering he was only there just to be a character to fill in a spot as harsh as that sounds.

While he has had prominent roles in the spin-off games like Mario Tennis and the Mario Party series, he has yet to take on a leading role in a traditional Mario platformer. It may be that Nintendo is waiting for the right opportunity to give Waluigi a larger role in a future game. Maybe they are wanting to give him a game but because he has only appeared in very few games they might want to build up his character a bit before they consider.

The development of a video game is a time-consuming and an expensive process, and it's possible that Nintendo has simply not prioritized the creation of a Waluigi standalone game. While it is certainly possible that Waluigi could receive his own game in the future, there are a number of factors that may be contributing to the character's current lack of a standalone title within the Nintendo franchise. Let's just cross our fingers and hope to see him in his own game someday!
