Finally, time for the boss fight. It seems like 3 episodes per main mission is the standard for this game. The boss is some kind of giant snake that says it used to be a god. Normally I don't mind facing gods (or former gods), but this thing is very annoying. Its arms can go through the ground and pop-up like I'm playing whack-a-mole - always fun when an enemy can do that, especially a boss.

Nioh 2 expands on the original in every way imaginable. It maintains the same low-medium-high stance system, the same ki system, and some other stuff, but with far more skills, better graphics, more weapons, a character creator, and the ability to transform into a yokai, Nioh 2 is a great improvement over and worthy successor to the original.
