Nioh: How to easily forge level 320 equipment (Nerfed in patch 1.04)

UPDATE: Patch 1.04 changed level 320 equipment to 160 and now the chances of forging level 160 will be even lower than the chances you had of forging level 320 equipment before the patch

So I've been crafting lots of level 320 equipment and for weapons I had always crafted "Nioh's Tachi", with which I would always get at least a 320 after 20 or so tries. I then went into armour forging and started crafting Nioh Armour, which took ages (hours) before getting a level 320 equipment and I didn't know why.

Then a user named "All-Fiction" made this (https://www.reddit.com/r/Nioh/comments/5v7s4a/if_youre_trying_for_a_320_weapon/) post on Reddit and I had an epiphany: When I crafted Nioh's Tachi, one of the materials needed was Demon's Horn and thought that this material might be an easy trigger to forge level 320 equipment.

So in this video I tested this: I bought 51 Demon's Horns from the teahouse and went crafting "Unusual Armour", an armour that requires Demon's Horn as a material. I crafted 51 armours and ended up getting 3 level 320 ones. (At 1:20, 1:50, 2:33)

I know this is a small sample size, but I really have forged thousands and thousands of equipments and this is the quickest I have ever gotten so many level 320 ones.

I actually do not know if it is just Demon's Horn or it can be any other "rare material", I have tried crafting bows/rifles which require other dropped materials and had no success; it might require more tries

TL;DR So if you want to up your chances of crafting level 320 weapons/armour, just try forging those with Demon's Horn as a required material. You can then soul match these onto anything you want

REMEMBER that you can only craft equipment up to the level of the highest level mission you have completed. To craft level 320 equipment, you need to complete the last quest in NG+
