No Man's Sky | Release Date Delayed CONFIRMED But My Excitement for the Game Lives On | FAQ Gameplay
75The No Man's Sky delay rumor has been hanging like a cloud for the last day, but just a short time ago Sean Murray, Founder of Hello Games, the Developer of No Man's Sky, wrote a post on the Playstation website mentioning that No Man's Sky has been delayed. The new release dates are as follows:
North America: August 9th
Europe: August 10th
UK: August 12th
In the post, Sean mentions wanting to bring extra polish to the game, and also writes a very particular sentence, which is "I have had to make the tough choice to delay the game for a few weeks to allow us to deliver something special" Does he mean "something special" as in the game, the baby he's been working on? Or does he mean "something special" as in something extra or something additional that would blow us all away?
I'm still excited for the game, but I can't help but feel a slight disappointment at the delay. I've been around for plenty of delayed releases before, however, and one more won't KILL me.
I also really enjoy getting the opporutnity to interact with all of the folks I've met so far, and I want to continue that in the future, so I'll be continuing to make No Man's Sky videos along with my regular channel content as always. If Sean is kind enough to dole out some tender morsels, I'll be more than happy to talk about those as well :D.
