Fuerte's ex.run has 2 hits of armor (and another 2 if you hit the side of the screen).

When the red focus mechanic was announced, I started writing a bunch of notes on some of the stuff that you'll be able to focus through in USFIV. The first thing that struck me was how many ultras don't actually break armor, meaning lots and lots of stuff will be red focus-able. However, since we have to wait 49 years until Ultra actually comes out on console, I thought I'd test some of them out vs Fuerte's ex.run. I'd messed around with this a bit when making the FADC Videos...

but didn't realize how versatile and quick ex.run actually was and how much stuff it can get through.

There are actually tons of ultras that are surprisingly straightforward to run through. Dudley, Dictator, Fei, DJ and a bunch of others all have ultras and supers that don't break armor, hit relatively slowly and have a distinct rhythm. Others however (Ryu's U1, Rufus' U1, Chun's Super, Cammy's super etc) are somewhat more executionally testing and far less likely to be done 'in game'.

If I'm still alive when USFIV comes out, I'm totally still going to make some red focus videos because there's a couple of things that seem impossible to get through with Fuerte.

Stay tuned till the end for a preview of the next vid.

Booyakasha!
