With this specific tree, I could make an almost fully automated treefarm, and it's totally unpowered! This includes planting, cutting, replanting and collecting the outcome - which can be really high as long as you provide it with bone meal. Other trees might work as well, but might require some other design.

After recording I noticed that the first pulse is enough to trigger the cutting, so the state machine is not really required - it doesn't seem to be required to have a high pulse during the cutting phase.

This design actually only lacks an auto-repair of the Lumber Axes and auto-feed of Bone Meal. A skelly farm is perhaps recommended. There are several ways to do it, feel free to show your designs and solutions to me and others :)

Several mods are used in this video, BuildCraft 6, Ender IO, Blue Power, Thermal Expansion and Tinker's Construct are key mods for this tutorial. And different 2x2 trees can, as said in the video, work in different ways depending on what mod they belong to.
