12One of my favorite weapons in PlanetSide 2 are the S variant carbines. Not because they are extremely strong or good, they are actually quite bad at shooting, but because they can have a grenade launcher attachment, the Noob Tube. Although the S variant assualt rifles can also have grenade launchers in PlanetSide 2, the Engineer can only use the carbine (not including ASP) and the Engineer class can also resupply the noob tube with new grenades. Some battle rifles can also use a grenade launcher, but they are meant for longer range engagements. Grenade launchers have the potential of dealing a lot of damage, and in some cases, kill an enemy in one hit. Although, the noob tube doesn't require much skill to use, this is war and it's fun to use. Place yourself in a chokepoint, with friends protecting your flanks, and just watch the certs roll in.

Empires fight on a massive scale where soldiers battle in an all-out planetary war on a scale never before seen in stunning, breathtaking detail.
