8Welcome to Part One of my playthrough of NORCO, a 2022 indie point-and-click adventure game developed by Geography of Robots and published by Raw Fury. Set in a surreal, dystopian version of South Louisiana, NORCO blends Southern Gothic storytelling with sci-fi mystery in a hauntingly atmospheric world.
We pick up with Kay Madére as she returns home to Norco after five years, following the death of her estranged mother, Catherine. As Kay reconnects with Million, a fugitive android once protected by her mother, she uncovers a trail of strange clues tied to Lake Pontchartrain. Something’s not right, and it looks like Catherine was onto something big before she died.
