Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (called Project Zero II in Japan) is a survival horror camera action game by Tecmo released for the Playstation 2 in 2003. It was rereleased for the Xbox in 2004 and the Wii in 2012. It follows the story of Mio Amakura as she and her sister Mayu are lost in a forest and stumble upon a ghost town. The two of them begin to explore and find the place is lousy with ghosts. Luckily they find the Camera Obscura, a special artifact that exorcises spirits using its film. Now the two must explore the village, find the dark influence at its heart, and find out the secret that links the sisters to the horrible night of sacrifice that happened so long ago.
