Improbable partner NetEase will be announcing/revealing a game built with SpatialOS called “Nostos.” It’s a revolution in VR gameplay: online multiplayer in virtual reality, set in an open world with realistic physics, real-time combat and free movement.
Nostos is a mysterious and desolate world with its own unique ecosystem and astronomical system. Players in this strange new land can explore a range of diverse environments, from desert to snowscape, gathering resources, crafting clothes and items for survival and collaborating or competing with other players to salvage the remains of a once advanced civilization. As they fight to survive, they must also deal with the ever encroaching, deadly “coral sea”, and the creatures that emerge from it.
