In Not Just The FPS, we not only do a first look or review a game, we also monitor the performance of a game. We not only just monitor the FPS, we also monitor stuff like cpu usage, gpu usage, ram, cpu cores and data.

Please Note:
I can't stress this enough, monitoring performance and a performance test is never 100% accurate. What you see here might not be the same results that you see. This video is to give you an idea on how well this game runs and what type of system resources that it might use. Always follow the minimum system requirements set by the developers.

Q&A
Q-What is the goal of this series?
A-This series is supposed to give the first impressions of a game and monitor the performance of a game during normal gameplay.
Q-What technologies are you using?
A-I'm using Rainmeter to display the information and MSI Afterburner and Performance Monitor to gather the counters. I'm using OBS for recording.
Q-How accurate is this information?
A-Gathering the performance of an application is never 100% accurate. The goal is always to go as close to 100% as possible. There are too many factors that could affect performance. I poll once every second.
Q-What kind of experience do you have with performance?
A-I have around 5 years experience testing and monitoring the performance of websites. My job was to create bots to create load on our web servers through our apps and then I'd monitor everything. I'd then report my findings to the project manager. Testing performance is more of a collaboration because of all the expertise that is needed with different systems. I also have a diploma in Game Development.

Special thanks to stangowner for providing the Rainmeter plugin for MSI Afterburner.

Hello everyone and welcome! My name is MacGhriogair (pronounced: MacGregor), but you can call me Mac. I'm a Lets Player that loves everything gaming. I believe that games are meant to be enjoyed, and I try to show that in my videos. I've been described as optimistic, easy-going, and laid-back, always ready to laugh at what ever is on screen. I do lets play, walkthrough, tutorial, how to, and other type of gaming videos on the channel. I've even done some videos on game programming. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again!
