Dual Ion Beam Emitters, Getting Started With A New Game - Let's Play Cosmoteer 14.2 Gameplay Ep 1
132Today in Cosmoteer we'll be starting a new series, but this time without mods. We'll be going through the bounty hunter game mode and we will be playing in the new update for Cosmoteer, version 0.14.2. This update added a new Heavy Laser Blaster and a Boost Thruster, we'll be seeing these two in a future episode. Our current ship is fitted with dual Ion Beam Emitters and 2 Blasters. The ship also has a couple of forward facing shields. Ion Beams are really good against starter ships because they don't normally have shields and the Ion Beam does a ton of damage against armour and other ship components. The Blasters are just a backup weapon, in case something happens to our primary weapons.

In #Cosmoteer you play as a spacefaring bounty hunter. You are able to build and design your own space ships and command them in battle. Cosmoteer can be difficult at times, but it's already a ton of fun. We are currently playing in the bounty hunter game mode, which is the game's campaign. We are playing in version 0.14.2.
Cosmoteer is currently still in development and is available for free, for the time being.
