Nox Plays... Cities: Skylines: Green Cities (Let's Play) | #33: Beachside Living
After several failed attempts to build up a new residential area on the easternmost beach (thanks, tsunami), we're finally able to get things in motion for that area. First up: commercial buildings. Given that we have a high demand for commercial, it makes sense to add those to the area first. Surely, once we have some sort of residential demand, future residents will be itching to move in because there are stores around... right? Isn't that what people do?
However, there exists a threat to our new area once again. That threat? A tornado. Thankfully, it's but a small, baby tornado, so it only wrecks a few roads and nothing more. The increased frequency of these natural disasters has me thinking that perhaps I should be adding some storm shelters ASAP; otherwise, our citizens may quickly perish, should another natural disaster pass through Noxdo.
