Osmanabad is a district in Maharashtra, working towards achievement of NRHM goals especially Mother & Child-care. Under the NRHM Scheme 17, 512 pregnant ladies were registered in Osmanabad so far through a call-center service. Pregnant women in the District are facilitated with transportation where they are picked up from their homes & dropped at the Clinic to enable routine check-up. Besides this, new mothers are also provided food and nutrition, free of cost as a part of post-natal care.
