(Nullpomino) 20G Tetris: 300 Lines with 14f Lock Delay
Modern Tetris games has a 30f, or 0.5 seconds of lock delay. In this play session, I play it with a 14f, or 0.2333... seconds of lock delay.
This is currently my new best, but right at the cusp of my limit of manipulating pieces. You may notice throughout the video that my input (left/right movement and hold) is occasionally slightly slower than the lock delay, causing the piece to deadlock into the default position. I don't think I can gain stack consistency in this speed anytime soon, so I'll be focusing on the recovery side; whether I can clean up the stack well enough to survive 300 lines. (which is why you see me playing rather conservatively at a lot of times)
And yes, I was getting tired at the later parts of the play session, and I almost had a heart attack when I saw multiple pieces deadlock on top of my stack and almost topping out. Thankfully, I got this one out of my way now.
