Nvidia's GTC 2016 conference just wrapped up, and we've seen the official announcement of the first of the new pascal cards, the P100 gpu, which is for high end deep learning and other such professional / server grade requirements. Nvidia did not announce customer based pascal cards unfortunately, so those looking to purcahse the X80 / X 70 (aka the GTX 1080 or GTX 1070) will need to wait for more information, possibly at computex
