According to some latest rumors, Nvidia is planning on releasing an RTX 4080 Ti/Super in early 2024. This GPU will allegedly be based on AD102 (same die as the 4090) and come with specs which will bridge the gap closer between the 4090 and 4080. Considering the specs of those two GPUs Nvidia can easily release a new GPU to fill that void. When the 4080 initially came out it was obvious that it was an upsell product. Previously we had a sensible high-end product like the 3080 and for those that needed the extra performance or more vram the 3090 was available for those enthusiasts. However, this time around the price hike on the 4080 was obscene. Now with an RTX 4080 Ti we could see Nvidia make a price adjustment, dropping the 4080 to a price point where it should have launched at and slotting in the 4080 Ti at the original $1199 price range. This could also affect pricing on other models. Along with that rejuvenate some much needed interested in the hardware market.
