OBLIVION VR Keeps Getting BETTER! Improved Motion Controls // Oblivion Remastered VR Mod
1,052The Oblivion Remastered VR mod KEEPS GETTING BETTER and now, just over a week since launch, we have full motion controls, first person horse riding and physical hands in game - No more floating swords and shields! VR modders are going CRAZY to turn this brand new Oblivion Remastered release into a full blown native Oblivion VR game, in a few months I think this could be one of the best VR mods of 2025 and an essential VR experience provided you have the system to run it. Speaking of performance in this video I'll be showing you my Oblivion Remastered VR settings for the best performance, you can comfortably go lower than the graphics preset I've settled on here and you'll still have a great time. Oblivion Remastered VR has only been around for 6 days at the time of my writing this but the VR modding community already have the game running with; 6DOF motion controls, physical swinging for attacks, physical blocking, manual bow & arrow aiming, quick slots on your body (shoulders, hips and chest), buttons remapped for VR controllers and you can even change the button prompts in game to represent your VR touch controller buttons. What a crazy achievement for a game that's been out for less than a week. Now Oblivion VR isn't perfect, there's still a long way to go before performance is consistent enough for everyone, those with older PCs may struggle to get this one running smoothly, but if you lower graphics presets, utilise features like DLSS and follow the guides in the Flat2VR modding Discord this is already a VERY playable VR experience.
