You've NEVER Seen a VR Game Like THIS Before! // The Midnight Walk (PCVR Gameplay)
645The Midnight Walk is one of the most visually distinct and endlessly creative new VR games I've played so far in 2025, heck, it might be one of the most unique and creative VR games I've EVER played! This claymation horror game, which can be played both flatscreen or in VR, is unlike anything you've ever seen in VR, the characters you encounter and the world around you has all been painstakingly created with clay, cardboard and A LOT of talent. It feels like walking through your very own twisted Nightmare Before Christmas VR game except this one is a lot darker and the creatures you encounter are far more menacing than Jack Skellington. The Midnight Walk isn't just a beautiful looking game it's a beautiful sounding one too, the soundtrack is absolutely sublime, I hope these tracks make their way to Spotify/streaming services because this is a videogame soundtrack I would gladly listen to. Gameplay wise The Midnight Walk is a stealth, puzzle, walking sim at it's heart, you and Pot Boy will need to hide from enemies, explore for secrets and solve puzzles to make your way Moon Mountain. The Midnight Walk might not be for everyone but I would encourage everyone to try it, it's unlike anything I've played in recent memory and is easily one of the most stunning and memorable VR games I've ever played.
This The Midnight Walk VR gameplay was captured on a 4090 VR ready PC with a Quest 3 connected via wired link cable, The Midnight Walk is out today for PSVR2 and PCVR, I did want to record some PSVR2 gameplay for this preview but the PSVR2 version would not capture correctly at the time of recording.
