It seems doom is one of those games with technical issues when you start recording the game.

I am not sure with other game recording software but for OBS there are quite a few and these are:

1) Lag:
-you need to know if it's dropping frames (the encoder is overloaded) or skipping frames (you are streaming the game your internet connection has problems)
2) OBS does not work:
-Open OBS, go to settings, advanced, set the Process Priority to High and make sure to use Display capture.
-Open Doom and if the display capture is just black, close OBS, close Doom then from here it will work by either opening Doom first then OBS or open OBS then Doom first. I have to do this every time before I start recording.

I have mentioned this on one of my videos' comments but never really had a video for it so here it is. I will keep repeating some of these to help others. Yes I do not get anything out of this but I want to help ^__^
