I try to explain every important setting the best so you can make judgement calls based on your situation. Overall, these OBS settings should give you the best performance and quality once you find a balance of the right settings. As long as the settings are correct, you should experience no lag when set appropriately, when in doubt, check the estimator that they include on their site :)
