Here is my second and last Open Broadcaster Software recording test video to involve a PlayStation 1 game I made as I switched back to OBS' default 720x480 standard definition resolution to demonstrate what a PS1 game looks like in it. It looks pretty good, I'd say. But for some reason, the audio went a bit out of sync, to the point where I needed to edit it to make it perfect this time, so I fixed it in Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13.0. I have no idea why OBS did that in this footage, but I did fine with the editing, although I might switch back to Pinnacle Studio 15 since it stabilizes audio sync in footage recorded from there. But otherwise, after recording seven different capture tests in OBS, it seems to be working out very well!

As you probably guessed, I also cut out the opening cutscene and muted the in-game music for copyright reasons. It took me a few times to finish the Lake Tahoe race in first place and complete the "Stop the Bomber" challenge in London since the physics in this version are oddly a bit annoyingly difficult to handle, so I also cut out the failed attempts and kept in the successful ones.

Anyway, you may remember seeing my let's play of the PC version of this game if you're a long-time fan of my YouTube channel, but I bought this version back in 2015 since it contains the night time of day setting, the "Stop the Bomber" challenges, etc. I'm not sure why they couldn't implement these things into the PC version (which I mainly grew up with), but it's interesting to discover them, although the graphics here are inferior. Additionally, this is the North American NTSC version (due to the fact I'm from the United States), which oddly lacks a cool RHD BMW car (also cut from the PC versions but considered unused and can still be found in their files) and cheat codes. But hey, it's all about what viewers and gamers like you expect, I'd say, due to nostalgia reasons. Enjoy!
