Before I even start, no. I have no intention of speedrunning DROD:AE in any way, hahahaha.

I've been interested in Let's Plays, speedruns and Twitch streams for a long time, but now that I have Crypt of the Necrodancer I thought I should finally get back into making YouTube videos, as well as eventually stream All Zone runs.

I wanted to record all my footage of attempts at the story mode and upload the winning runs on YouTube, and then once I've completed all zones individually and unlocked more stuff I'd start streaming afterwards, but of course it's been a long time since I've recorded anything and I've never streamed anything... This is a new laptop and I needed new programs, so I chose to use OBS for recording/streaming, VideoPad for minor video editing and LiveSplit in case I'd ever want to speedrun on Twitch.

...After watching it on YouTube and checking my source files, it seems like VideoPad makes the video really choppy. OBS' .flv recordings are fine, but the final video (even before uploading) had all those pauses. Lesson learned, I suppose; gonna run Windows Movie Maker from now on, I guess.

I don't blame you if you don't bother with the last 2/3 of this!
