Obscure 2: The Aftermath is, in my opinion, an underappreciated survival horror game that absolutely shines in co-op. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the game is perfectly balanced for two players. Each character has a unique skill for solving puzzles, but the game’s design ensures you’re never stuck backtracking for too long.

One thing I love is the hidden keys and collectibles that encourage exploration. The game also features inventive puzzles that make great use of each character’s abilities, keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging.

However, the game isn’t perfect. Some plot points feel a bit weak in their delivery, and the camera control in co-op can be frustrating, especially in boss fights. But despite its flaws, I really appreciate what Obscure 2 tries to do with its story.
