For those who think this is fake, here is the archived stream of me testing the wrong warps live: http://www.twitch.tv/pjdicesare/b/503208715

HUGE thanks to Master-88 for finding the "door storage" glitch in Bionic Commando. We aren't totally sure how this works yet, but if you enter the door on the same frame that your grapple connects to a solid surface, you will store the "door enter" event. You are invincible to everything but terrain (spikes, Area 12 barrier) during this, and once you enter another door, it will take you to a wrong location. In most levels, it will take you to Area 1 (such as in this video). In some long levels like Area 8 and Area 12, you will usually just get sent to a different part of the stage. If you die with storage, you will respawn where the door should have taken you.

If you complete Area 1 after the wrong warp, the game will think you just finished the original level and even give you the item for it. Sadly, level 1 is one of the longest stages in the game, and the wrong warp requires two doors in the same room to activate. This makes it totally useless for basically every level, but for Area 8 the wrong warp will save ~20 seconds if you activate it first try. Beating Area 12 in this manner will not end the game. It'll simply say "12AREA CLEAR" and won't give you an item.

You still need a communicator to complete Area 1 after the wrong warp. For Area 8, that happens to be the blue communicator so it's not a big deal.

More details are being figured out. Currently this is the only time saving location.
