while trying this trick several times, i came up with a setup for the part that involves walking at the edge of the unloaded room to reach the boss door loading zone.
to get down there, use a triple slash clip at the shown spot.
setup begins at 1:30. before that i was making sure i was next to the wall that should be there. hearing the rug footsteps indicates that you're in the hallway towards the boss door.
now, once you're in the corner, do a sidehop right, then 3 standing rolls (the first one seems to roll sideways but it was a normal standing roll), then 2 sidehops left and then backwalk for a bit. i stopped a bit early because i didn't know where the platform ends and had to use the slingshot to measure it but this method makes it much easier to reach this point.
