Octodad: Dadliest Catch - First 20 Minutes
1Oh god what the fuck am I doing edition.
Okay, now let's get started here.
Besides the fact that this is a F20M, this is also my first time playing it. I was surprised it released today, but I didn't keep up with the news of it.
Anyway, it seems like the time it takes for new players to complete this is 2-4 hours, which is barely okay for the price of 11€, BUT it has a level editor (windows only), with steam support and all, so all in all I'd say get it.
Controls, it's pretty much control-like like Surgeon Simulator. You control specific parts and all, but it's way easier to control Octodad than the Surgeon.
To the levels, yeah, you try to do normal stuff without being too suspicious and all. Of course we all know that won't happen.
Looks like there are also a fair amount of references hidden in-game. Speaking of hidden, there are collectibles to collect too, making the game replayable for those that like this kind of thing. Graphics are pretty good, especially maxed. But the one thing I didn't like was that for some reason the mirrors are still low-res. I guess that'll get fixed soon though.
