Oculus Quest: hand tracking feature out of beta
The Oculus Quest is celebrating its first anniversary as it should be: available in the experimental phase since last December, the user hand tracking feature - allowing you to do without controllers - is officially launched with the update v17 day of the autonomous VR headset. Its deployment will take place gradually this week.
As the Oculus announcement on its blog, third-party developers will be able to submit their games and applications compatible with hand tracking so that they appear on the Oculus Store as of May 28. Two titles already available, The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets and Waltz of the Wizard Hand, will also be updated to take advantage of the feature, while the Elixir demo will be offered for free. You can discover all of this in the video below.
