Checking out a new game this week, Swordsman VR. Short version, its an arena fighter using mainly swords and shields in an increasingly difficult series of battles, while using RPG mechanics to level up and fight them.


Its a physics based combat game, but the physics are not as advanced as say, Blade and Sorcery, or Boneworks. Its more along the lines of Tales of Glory, where the weapons have physics and the enemies will ragdoll, but they cant be manipulated like an object in the way they can in other games.


In saying that, I had a really fun time, its got great graphics, challenging enemies and a fun, RPG based progression system.
