Valve launched this year's "Monster Summer Sale," offering a wide variety of deals from today through June 21. The Monster Summer Sale kicks off with daily deals on the Metro franchise, Grand Theft Auto 5, the XCOM franchise just to name a few. Flash sales, which last 12 hours, are available for titles such as Mirror's Edge, Fez and Papers, Please thus far. Along with the Summer Sale comes a "minigame" in which the Steam community can unlock additional sales. Users can collect the 10 Steam trading cards available for the Summer Sale to craft the Summer Sale badge. Then they can play a "Monster Summer Game" to help their team level up, unlock abilities and achieve community milestones. Reaching certain milestones will unlock new discounts for all Steam customers.

YouTube Live at E3 will kick off Monday, June 15, and feature an "exclusive reveal" of the next title from Platinum Games. Special guests such as Telltale Games, Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and Tony Hawk will also be on hand. YouTube Live at E3 is being hosted by Geoff Keighley and begins at 12 p.m. ET.

Oculus is sharing a ton of news about the upcoming retail Oculus Rift hardware, but one of the more surprising pieces of news is that the hardware will come with a wireless Xbox One controller and a wireless adaptor and will work natively with Windows 10. You'll also be able to stream Xbox One games in a theater-like environment to the Oculus Rift, allowing you to play Xbox One games

Darksiders 2 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this holiday. Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition comes equipped with all the previous DLC as well. Gunfire Games under the watchful eye of Nordic Games will be handling the port.

Nintendo has announced that the 3DS handheld has sold over 15 million units in the United States alone since launching in March 2011. Sales of the 3DS have increased by more than 50 percent in 2015, and it has now become the 8th Nintendo system to sell over 15 million units. This year's success is attributed to the release of the New Nintendo 3DS XL.
