Old Gamer in VR - Medal Of Honor, Above And Beyond
1Hey folks, This is the new game Medal Of Honor Above And Beyond. This is actually not a new game. It's been on PCVR for a while and did not get good reviews. I never played it before. This is now ported to the Oculus Quest 2 "natively". No PC needed. However IT IS A HUGE GAME. 45 Gigs. My bet if you have a 64GB Quest 2 you probably have to have nothing installed on it to have the space to install it. In fact on my 256GB Quest 2 I had to uninstall some games to make room AND have enough to record this video native.
Anyway I like this game. Not sure why so many did not. I like the very interactive nature of it and the story mode of that game. My kind of game to be honest. And I think the graphics "native" look great for the Quest 2. Some of the best.
This video is just the intro part of the game, training, shooting range, etc. Just to give you an idea how it looks and plays along with the story interaction. I may do a follow on video playing a campaign.
Note: This was recorded native on the Quest 2. I sent an ADB command to it to record in 720 format. I was worried the audio would be out of sync. Many processor intensive games (like In Death Unchained) cause native recording in the quest 2 to be out of sync with the audio. This one is almost right on. Very slight delay and hardly noticeable.
